Hypixel SkyBlock 0.26.1 Alpha Preview: Healing Revamp, Farming Rework & Harvest Feast Changes

Last verified · Patch 0.26.1

0.26.1 is currently an alpha release candidate only. As of July 15, 2026 it is not live on the main SkyBlock servers, and everything below can still change before any real release: numbers get retuned, mechanics get reverted and entire systems sometimes get cut between an alpha build and launch. Treat this as a preview of direction, not a patch note you can trade against. The headline content is a new-player quality-of-life pass, a full Farming Armor rework, a Harvest Feast balance patch and a second attempt at the Healing Revamp that touches Dungeons, Slayers and Kuudra.

Alpha caveat, repeated on purpose:

This preview is built from the 0.26.1 alpha RC patch notes and wiki changelog dated July 15, 2026, cross-checked against creator Derailious’s July 16 alpha coverage. Do not make irreversible market bets — dumping stock, panic-buying replacements or emptying a bazaar position — based on alpha numbers alone. For what is actually confirmed and live right now, see the Hypixel SkyBlock 0.26.0 Update Guide. This page is published as an end-of-month checkpoint on where the alpha stands, and will be updated again around the live release of 0.26.1 once the final numbers are locked in.

New-player quality of life

A large share of 0.26.1 is aimed at smoothing the early game rather than adding new endgame grind. Beginner Sacks are a new tier that sits below Small Sacks, holding 640 of a beginner item subset, unlocked at Collection Tier II or for 250 coins from skill merchants. That is a cheap, low-friction upgrade path that mostly matters for brand-new accounts and Ironman starts.

The Accessory Bag also gets a naming and slot change: default slots rise to 9, and “Magical Power” is renamed “Accessory Power” everywhere in the UI, with accessories now showing their Accessory Power value directly on the item instead of forcing players to look it up. Redstone Collection is condensed to 9 tiers, and Personal Compactor recipes need noticeably less Redstone to build; Personal Compactor 4000, for example, drops to 28 Enchanted Redstone in the alpha notes. If that number holds, it is a real cost reduction for a very commonly crafted item, and Enchanted Redstone demand could soften slightly on the back of it.

Smaller QoL items worth knowing: a /warps alias, /island and /privateisland aliases, and the Adventurer NPC being renamed to Combat Merchant. None of these move the economy on their own, but they are the kind of change that tends to ship as-is even when bigger systems get revised.

Farming Armor is being fully rebuilt

This is the biggest structural change in the alpha build. The old Farming Armor line is renamed and restructured into a single linear progression:

Old nameNew nameUnlockNotes
Farm SuitFarmhand ArmorEntry tier
Farm ArmorHaymaker ArmorWheat Collection VICommon rarity, new hay-bale helmet, cheap Enchanted Wheat recipe
Pumpkin ArmorSprout ArmorCarrot Collection VIII+15 Farming Fortune per piece
Melon ArmorTater ArmorPotato Collection IX

Rabbit Armor gets a full redesign rather than a rename: it uses a skull helmet, drops Farming Fortune entirely from its stat line, and instead grants Speed and Defense, with a set bonus of permanent Jump Boost III while sneaking. Abilities and gemstone slots are removed from the early sets in this line, which reads as a deliberate simplification so new farmers are not chasing enchant-and-gemstone optimization before they even have a full set.

Supporting the rework, a new Husbandry Merchant appears in the Barn selling “Basic” animal axes, while the old axes are renamed “Advanced” to make room for them. The Rookie Hoe is buffed with +5 Farming Fortune, another signal that the early farming curve is being flattened rather than just relabeled.

Bookshelf Power is being removed entirely

Bookshelf Power is cut from the game in this alpha build. Enchanted Bookshelves become legacy items with no remaining gameplay use once no enchant needs them.

If this ships as-is:

It is a direct hit to a long-running stockpile item: Enchanted Bookshelf value on the auction house and bazaar would have real reason to collapse toward little more than minion-fuel value, since their entire demand driver disappears. Anyone sitting on a large Enchanted Bookshelf stack should treat this as a warning to watch, not a reason to fire-sale today — the mechanic could still be reworked instead of deleted before a live release. Track the listing side with SkyCofl bazaar and watch for early sentiment shifts with SkyCofl top movers.

Harvest Feast gets a feedback-driven balance pass

Harvest Feast is getting adjusted based on community feedback rather than a ground-up redesign. New content includes the Orchid Mantis Pet (crafted from Floral Gelatin and Enchanted Egg), which bases around Overbloom and Speed and carries the Swift Sickles perk, converting every 3 Speed into +1 Farming Fortune, plus a farming-tool-XP boost and a small chance to find Jelly or Plant Matter while farming. There is also a new Blooming Thorns reforge stone offering a “Thorny” reforge that adds Farming Fortune and Overbloom, scaling with Thorns tier, and a new Feast Burger consumable usable up to 5 times, each use granting a permanent +1 Overbloom.

Sprayonator rework, and why it happened:

The old “Buzzy Bee’s Fantabulous Disco Destination” add-on is removed outright and replaced with tiered nozzle upgrades — Juicy Nozzle upgrading into Juicy Sprayonator, Groovy Nozzle into Groovy Sprayonator — while the base Sprayonator itself is slightly nerfed. Hypixel’s own stated reason is that the Disco Destination let pests spawn directly on top of it, which was being actively abused by cheaters and macro users, and that “they shouldn’t have released it like that.” Creator Derailious agrees the change needed to happen but notes it will upset a lot of players who had built AFK farming routines around it. Read this as a direct nerf to a macro-adjacent AFK farming strategy, not a base-Sprayonator nerf for normal manual play.

On the economy side, the Feast rare-crop NPC sell price is raised to 50,000 coins, which is a meaningful and quantifiable Ironman-friendly buff since it is a guaranteed NPC floor rather than a bazaar-dependent number. The Feast crop rotation is also raised from 3 to 4 crops per season, spreading demand across more items at once. On the nerf side, the Rarefinder Chip’s max Overbloom bonus drops from +60 to +50, and several pet perks get tweaked, including Elephant, Mooshroom Cow and Bee Pet.

Healing Revamp v2: Dungeons, Slayers and Kuudra

This is Hypixel’s second attempt at the Healing Revamp, and it is still clearly in flux even within the alpha build. The core change reworks Vitality into a resource stat that governs how often healing abilities can be cast, rather than a passive flat-healing stat. Sea creature damage and Mythological Event boss damage both move away from percent-of-max-HP “true damage” toward flat or stat-relative numbers, which generally lowers burst damage from those sources.

The Dungeons changes are the largest single piece: the stat-scaling curve is reworked to help sub-Catacombs-50 players significantly.

FloorOld stat boostNew stat boostEffect
Catacombs 30~205%~285%roughly +75% damage, +45% effective HP
Catacombs 40~315%~385%
Catacombs 50already well-scaledsmall bump only

Regular mob damage from the Entrance through Floor 6 is reduced, trap damage is cut sharply, and the four classes — Berserker, Mage, Healer and Tank — are being reworked alongside the stat curve. Derailious’s read on this in his July 16 coverage is that it makes Floor 7 and Master Mode 7 realistically achievable for players in the Catacombs 30–40 range, who were previously squeezed by a curve tuned around much higher stats.

Slayers get broad damage reductions across the board, Blaze Slayer especially.

Don't read this as fixed:

Derailious explicitly states that Blaze Slayer is still not in a good spot even for max-geared players in this alpha build, so do not read “damage reduced” as “Blaze Slayer is now easy.” It is a step in that direction, not a finished one.

Crimson Isle and Kuudra both get direct tuning. The loot damage-contribution threshold is lowered to 250,000, making it easier to qualify for loot without carrying the whole fight. Ashfang’s Gravity Orb changes from an instant one-shot to 5,000 damage per second, which is a large survivability change for anyone who has been oneshot by it before. Kuudra mob damage is halved outright.

Structurally, the Ferocity stat is effectively replaced by an Attack-Speed-based system that caps at 2x DPS, and Hypixel says it is open to feedback on an Intelligence-based alternative instead — worth flagging to Hypixel directly if you have strong feelings on which stat should govern the cap. A Mastiff Armor crit-damage bug is fixed in the same build. On the fishing side, Mithril Grubbers now drop Plasma directly, giving a new farmable path to the X-55 drill material; if this goes live as-is, expect Plasma’s bazaar price to soften somewhat as a second reliable supply source comes online.

What to actually do with this information

Nothing here should trigger an irreversible market move today. The useful actions right now are: note which stockpiles look exposed (Enchanted Bookshelves chief among them) so you can react quickly if the change survives to live, avoid over-investing in systems that are being visibly reworked (early Farming Armor gemstone slots, the old Sprayonator Disco Destination loop), and keep an eye on official Hypixel alpha feedback threads if you want a say in open questions like the Ferocity-to-Attack-Speed swap. Use SkyCofl top movers and BazaarTracker demand to see whether the market is already pricing in alpha rumors before a live patch, and check Skyblock.bz crash risk before treating any early dip or spike as confirmed rather than speculative.
