Hosting and server log files

This site is served through Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., USA), which sits in front of our origin server as a reverse proxy and provides basic protection against abuse. Cloudflare processes standard connection metadata (IP address, requested URL, timestamp, user agent, referrer) to deliver the page and to protect it against attacks. Where this involves a transfer to the US, it is based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (DPF), with Standard Contractual Clauses as a fallback. Our own server logs record the same kind of request data. Log data is kept only as long as needed for security and troubleshooting purposes: typically 7 days, tracing data within about a week, with a hard ceiling of 30 days, after which it is deleted.

No analytics, no advertising, no non-essential cookies

This site does not run any analytics or tracking software (no Matomo, Google Analytics or similar), does not serve advertising, and does not set any non-essential cookies or comparable local storage. We do not use a cookie or tracking consent banner because there is nothing on this site that requires consent under § 25 TDDDG. Any cookies or storage strictly necessary for the site to function (if used at all) are exempt from that consent requirement.

Third-party content

Fonts and static assets on this site are served from our own domain; we do not load fonts, scripts or embeds from third-party origins on page load.

Outbound links

This site links to other Coflnet properties (for example sky.coflnet.com) and to third-party tools mentioned in our guides. Those destinations have their own, separate privacy policies, which we do not control.
